TUTOR TALK: The Complete Teacher-to-Tutor Foundation

Regular price $197.00

Stop dreaming about flexibility. Start building it.

I worked 11 hours a week tutoring and invoiced $4,670 in May. That's $106/hour from working on my schedule for parents who are thrilled to pay me.

This isn't theory. This is my life.

I was going to be a career 2nd grade teacher and transition to admin. I have the master's degrees to prove it.  But life threw me a curveball with my daughter's dyslexia diagnosis.

Tutoring changed our family's life for good

My husband and I grew up with teacher-parents.  His mom taught 1st grade; mine 7-8th ELA. I don't have to drag home teacher bags of papers to correct. I don't do report cards or conferences.

I can work from home when a child is sick.  No sub plans needed. I just reschedule if I'm too sick. Tutoring gave us financial breathing room.

If you're ready to turn your teaching expertise into premium income, this is your roadmap.

TUTOR TALK includes 3 live lessons this summer:

Lesson 1: Finding Premium Clients Who Pay $75-125+/Session
Learn exactly how I landed my first clients and how I find them now. Plus the conversation scripts that convert inquiries into paying clients.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q1: "Is this just for teachers who want to leave the classroom?"
Not at all. Many people tutor 5-10 hours/week during the school year as their "fun money:" vacations, car payments, and Christmas gifts. This works as a side hustle or full transition.

Q2: "How do parents actually find tutors? I have no idea where to start."
This is exactly what I cover in Live Lesson 1. I'll show you the simple system I used to have parents reach out to ME instead of me chasing them.

Q3: "What if parents in my area won't pay $75-125/session?"
I live in a mid-size town, not mid-town Manhattan. Premium pricing is about positioning and proving value, not your zip code. I'll show you exactly how.

Q4: "I've never tutored before. Is this for beginners?"
As long as you already know how to teach,  I'm just showing you how to package that expertise for premium pay. Fresh start = fresh positioning.

Q5: "What materials do we need?"
I provide basic templates for intake forms, contracts, and session planning guides. Plus I'll show you how to use the resources you probably already own.

Q6: "When do the live lessons happen?"
Summer 2026 — tentatively June 9, July 21, and August 11 at 4pm Pacific Time.  Specific dates will be confirmed by June 1. All lessons are recorded so if you can't make it live, you won't miss anything.  You can also send your questions ahead of time for me to answer on the recording.

Q7: "What if I try this and it doesn't work?"
Here's the thing.  This isn't a get-rich-quick scheme. Owning a tutoring practice is a real business that requires consistent effort. I'll give you every tool and strategy I use, but your success depends on implementing what you learn.  But the payoff is so worth it.
