Turn reluctant readers into children begging to practice phonics with this competitive game.
Your child will have no idea they are sounding out words when playing Phonics Four in a Row. There is so much strategy and problem-solving required to win. Your child will ask to play again and again!
This game set includes phonics skills from letter sounds to 2-3 syllable words with the suffixes -sion and -tion. So it's perfect for beginning readers through older struggling readers. I have used it with kindergarten through 6th grade children.
This is included in the Phonics Fun Big Bundle!

Frequently asked questions
Q1: I'm not a teacher and I struggled with phonics myself. Can I use this?
Yes, absolutely. All you need to do is be able to read the words! If you have questions about how to sound out the words, feel free to email me or DM on Instagram. Chances are if you have a question, many other parents do, too!
Q2: Are the games editable?
No, due to copyright law, I cannot sell the files as editable. Plus it's my intellectual property. If you buy the Phonics Games Big Bundle, you can get an editable template to add all your own words. The template is not sold separately.
Q3: Will my kid actually enjoy these?
Almost all my tutoring students have enjoyed these. You know your child best. Does your child like competition and games? That's your answer. :)
Q4: How much time will it take?
You just need a few minutes to download and print from the PDF. Then you need about 5-10 minutes to play.
But brace yourself, your child will likely want a rematch!
Q5: What supplies do I need?
You need a dry-erase sleeve and two different colored Expo markers. Or you need about 20 small plastic poker chips (called counters) in two colors.
This is a digital product. Nothing physical will ship.
